Pots, Plants, & Community Fun at Magpie Art Center
Spend the day exploring creativity and gardening with two community events happening on the 23rd! Stop by to create a free clay pot at Magpie Art Center (drop in between 9 a.m.–2 p.m., make a clay pot in under 15 minutes), enjoy The Secret Life of the Garden art show, then wander over to shop a wonderful selection of vegetable, heirloom tomatoes, herbs, and flowering plants home grown for you by the Sedalia Growers for the Sedalia Museum Plant Sale!
We’re teaming up to make it easy to enjoy both experiences—whether you come for the plants, the pottery, or simply a fun day connecting with neighbors and fellow garden lovers. Create something by hand, gather inspiration for your garden, and support local community efforts all in one trip.
Bring your friends, your family, and your green thumb!

Native Pollinator Garden
Exciting news! Magpie Art Center is creating a Pollinator Garden filled with native plants to support bees, butterflies, and other vital pollinators. This vibrant space will not only beautify our grounds but also serve as an educational and inspiring place for the community.
We need volunteers to help with planting, soil prep, and garden design! Whether you have a green thumb or just a love for nature, we’d love your help in bringing this project to life.
